J. Brandon Correa

J. Brandon is an NYC based makeup artist and has been involved in the world of art, fashion and make-up since his childhood. Being the son of a former model and the grandson of a celebrity caricature artist, good taste, vibrant colors and creativity have always surrounded him. 

With over 18 years of experience J. Brandon has been a Key Makeup artist for NYFW, has had the opportunity to provide artistry for a variety of professional and celebrity clientele including but not limited to: Lil Nas X, Cree Summer, Nikki Glaser, Jennifer Lewis, MTV and Us Weekly. Notably his work has been featured on the covers of magazines and billboards across the country including Times Square, NYC.

Currently he is the National Makeup Artist and Manager of Artistry for Yves Saint Laurent Beaute where he provides artistry and makeup direction for national campaigns and works as a beauty contributor for Vogue, Allure, InStyle and more.

I would have never found the medium to make my impression in this industry if I didn’t explore, get things wrong, and learn. I used to jump into projects without mapping them out first, never creating the look I set out to. After looking over incomplete works, I remembered something my mother always told me, ‘A look starts with a vision...’ I hope that through my brush and palette, I will provide the look that completes a person’s vision of themselves.
